Dear Prospective SF Auxiliary Member,

Thank you for your interest in the San Francisco Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums (“SF Auxiliary”). The SF Auxiliary is the all-volunteer organization that works closely with museum staff to organize and produce Bouquets to Art (BTA). We have raised more than $10 million for the de Young and Legion of Honor to support special exhibitions, conservation efforts, and education programs.

We are grateful for your interest and welcome new members who can offer their talents and support. Here are our membership requirements so that you may consider if joining the SF Auxiliary is right for you.

​

SF Auxiliary members are required to:

​

1. Attend a minimum of four meetings annually (in person or via Zoom)

2. Fulfill 3-4 volunteer shifts during BTA week

3. Pay annual Auxiliary membership dues of $175

4. Maintain a current membership with the Fine Arts Museums of SF

5. Buy a minimum of one (1) ticket to BTA Opening Night, or make an equivalent donation

In addition, while not a requirement, we also seek members who have access to potential donors and corporate sponsors to help us achieve our fundraising goals and ensure the future of BTA for years to come.

SF Auxiliary members also enjoy many benefits, including:

• Access to docent tours and Art Talks

• Intimate tours of special exhibitions after monthly meetings on Mondays when the Museums are closed to other visitors

• A behind-the-scenes conservation tour of the de Young or Legion of Honor

• Invitations to exclusive Member-only events

• Attendance at the annual presentation by Tom Campbell, Director and CEO of FAMSF, to the SF Auxiliary

• Behind-the-scenes participation in BTA, a beloved SF tradition
